I have been working on the seven-day mental diet for the past two weeks, today I am still on day one. The seven-day mental diet requires you to go seven full days without having a negative thought about yourself or anything else. If you have a negative thought, no matter when you are in the seven days, you must start over from day one. If you are on day 6 and have a negative thought you are right back at day one. I never realized how many negative thoughts I have.
Fox says the mental diet is fuel for our mind and it determines the character of our lives. He says:
It is the thoughts you allow yourself to think, the subjects that you allow your mind to dwell upon, which make you and your surroundings what they are.
That is really powerful stuff. Every thought we have had in the past and our future thoughts influences our circumstances. Our negative thoughts create negativity in our life. The reverse is also true. Just as both the blueprint builder and Hanaal say, any thought we persistently keep will eventually manifest itself into outward physical action or physical reality. The mental diet reinforces the Master Key lessons, that thought creates our environment. Fox states, thought is the cause and our environment is the effect. In other words, we are what we think.
The overarching theme of the Master Key Experience is thoughts are powerful; the thoughts that dominate your mind also dominates your life. Hanaal says, what we think about sometimes will not grow, but our inmost thoughts will sprout like a seed and grow. In other words, we cannot expect to experience growth if our dominating thoughts are about lack, fear, self-conscious, overly-anxious. Therefore, if we constantly think about the thing we want and have strong conviction they will happen; then what we desire will happen.
I am beginning to experience these lessons in my own life. For a long time, I have been struggling with my 9 to 5 and I also struggle to build my business. But as practice the mental diet I am seeing how thoughts manifest reality. The anxiety and resentment I experienced each day has gradually disappeared. I also experience a reduction in self-doubt. While I have not been able to go more than a day or two without a negative thought; I am can see the impact positivity has had on my life. I am much more productive. And my business is beginning to grow. If nothing else comes from this experience I will have gained much more than I could have hoped for.
